Urban Hope works because lots of people are involved in supporting the project, some give time, others money or expertise and then there's always things... You might have some things that would be very helpful.
A wide range of people volunteer at Urban Hope sessions including, currently, a barista, a lawyer, a TFL employee, a radio producer, a journalist. If you're not able to volunteer at sessions, perhaps you could offer some practical support at other times or help to run a one-off event – there are more details about the different ways that you can get involved here.

It costs approximately £120,000 a year to run Urban Hope. That money all comes from a variety of sources, from grant-making trusts to individual donors. We are very good at making the money we receive go a long way.

From time to time people give us very useful things such as sports equipment, cooking equipment, games consoles and art supplies. It's great to know that people think of us when there's an opportunity to give items away.
If you would like to donate any items that you think would be useful please contact Alex on the email address above. In fact, however you think you might be able to help, do get in touch – we'd love to hear from you.
